Hey Guys,

I'm trying to get started with VHDL-Tool and VSCode.

So far vhdl-tool check-config works fine.

When I run vscode the server crashes.

If i start the server with the terminal it hangs with this:

Creating socket vhdl-tool: Network.Socket.bind: hardware fault (Input/output error) Reading files ... Done (0.1070 s) CPUs: 8 Parsing done (6.1400 s) Failed to parse: ./src/light/free_run.vhd Found 2 libraries Successfully parsed 2458 files Creating database ... Done (0.1155 s) Found 2 libraries Successfully parsed 2458 files Creating database ... Done (0.1155 s)

It just hangs there in the terminal till i interrupt it.

Any ideas?

It's actually supposed to hang after parsing all the files. It's just waiting to receive json-rpc requests. The docs are a bit unclear. So, running the server looks good.

Does VSCode pop up the little dialog that says the server crashed?
