#22 functions in signal declarations corrupts the tag file

I'm researching vhdl support in vim and came across this tool. I currently work in windows so I've run the tool using wsl. I've run the tag command - but the tags file is corrupt. I've reduced the hdl to a reasobably minimal test case. the functions in the input and output ports seem ok, but the one in the signal corrupts the file.

the windows command I ran

wsl vhdl-tool ctags -R

Did you upload the testcase? It's possible that uploading files is broken for some reason.

Can you try pasting the testcase into the text section.

Thanks

So I tried uploading the files again when you posted this, but I couldn't. Then I forgot about it til now. Can't upload .vhd files (error message is: "You can't upload this type of file."), or .vhdl files, or .txt. That was drag and drop. When I click to upload it suggests the support types are .png and .jfif. I tried changing the file extenstion error message is now "File type is not allowed". That's about all the free work I'm prepared to do for you.
